Considering that Kip is the shooter, thus can be recorded as the killer. Kip, a fifteen-year-old, started murdering his parents before he opened fires at Springfield Thurston High School. Kip engaged in a shooting activity whereby two students died while the other 25 students were left wounded. Being a youth, Kip is supposed to be a morally and ethically observant person, although in this case, he bends this aspect.
Henceforth, Kip can be referred to as having inhuman characteristics whereby he takes the life of other students without any reasonable argument. Being a life taker, he destroys the school environment as he evaluates himself based on ethical, morally expected behavior. Indeed, he is merciless and unrespectable to the lives of other students. Kip injures 25 students, hence putting their health life in danger. Kip goes against the will of society and disrespects nature as it requires him to be responsible for other creations and, more so, others’ lives. He is also arrogant as he is seen stating that he would better be killed after he is caught by other students. He is considerably referred to as a suicidal person due to the characteristics he engages in killing his parents at first and then his fellow student; thus, he can be seen to be in the process of taking everyone’s life and later on himself. Generally, Kip’s actions hold garages with his school and even take revenge thus can be referred to a brutal person. He is not kind to human life; hence, he acts very primitively. Therefore, the shooting at Thurston High School makes Kip cruel, just like terrorists do. Therefore, Kip portrays the character of a terrorist attack in the School.
In my opinion, the film is learning material for students. The film not only portrays the cruel behavior of Kip but also a resource material that describes the immoral aspects that are driven by the teenage character. By this, I take that students should undergo counseling and also have society-based interaction whereby they would be able to learn moral and ethical responsibility. By encouraging students to learn proper ethics and moral behaviors, the youths will, therefore, disengage with the currently witnessed cases of school attacks. More so, the students will be able to practice what they are taught on matters pertaining to gun control, which is on the rise in the United States. Therefore I take the film as a resourceful material which is adequate for learning youth in schools today. Thus helping to build a responsible community for a great and accountable society.
About the Kip family, several issues arise, causing overall destruction as the family collapses. Therefore, according to my review, I didn’t see any interesting observations from the Kips family. I am only left with worries and concerns about bringing responsible children. Ideally, I see the developed disagreement between the perception taken by parents and their children as crucial matters. Considering the world we are living in every family should make efforts to try its best and raise children in moral and ethical upright. Kip’s family came to an end after everything went on the wrong side after the son armed himself and decided to take his parent’s life. In conclusion, life is a process and not an event, hence responsibility, hence empowering a community that is morally upright and also living a well-being life. Every parent should be responsible for guiding and counseling their children, thus avoiding such cases as the one created by Kip since every kid would be keen on approaching ideas that do not ruin the lives of others. Therefore, Life is worth living for every man.
