Introduction

Air pollution is one of the most widely discussed issues in the 21st century. Pollution is a result of different factors, such as volcanos and natural fires. Air pollution is mostly caused by human activities, such as cutting down trees that act as air purifiers and water catchment areas. The emission of carbon gases that deplete the ozone layer helps filter toxic rays of the sun that cause serious. This is a very serious issue that, if not well addressed, could cause serious environmental and health issues to humanity. The issue of the greenhouse effect that is a result of increased carbon emission by unregulated industries may also cause global warming.

Personal Impact

Personally, this issue has caused a serious increase in temperatures, which has led to increased bacterial and fungi multiplication that has led to diseases both for me and the society I hail from. There is a high increase of smog in the air, which is caused by high temperatures and increased ultraviolet radiation. These have caused poor vision on roads, traffic congestion, and increased accidents. Smog contains dangerous gasses such as sulfur oxide, which causes irritation in inhalation and respiratory infections. There is an increase in flooding that has caused damage to properties and lives and has also brought about increased dampness.

Being Part Of The Solution

By taking part in creating awareness among the public and being part of organizations that fight the use of fossil fuels. Avoiding the use of plastic materials is also a very important way to deal with air pollution. Use of approved transport vehicles that have decreased carbon emissions and also champion the use of such. Encouraging recycling of certain materials or chemicals could help reduce air pollution. Renewable energy and natural ways to produce energy, such as wind, solar, and some forms of nuclear energy., are used.

Urbanisation And Solid And Hazardous Waste

Importance

Urbanization is the moving of people from rural areas to towns in search of better living conditions or employment. Solid hazardous waste is waste that is tested and proven to have certain dangerous traits. Urbanization and solid hazardous waste are factors that come simultaneously: increased urbanization leads to increased solid hazardous waste due to increasing population. This is an important issue as urbanization leads to increased hazardous waste that harms the population.

Personal Impact

Urbanization has led to congestion in urban areas w, which has led to poor living conditions due to increased population. These conditions include high crime rates due to increasing unemployment in urban centers, poor sewer and drainage facilities, and uneven distribution of public resources like land, etc. Increased hazardous waste has led to poor drainage due to unbiodegradable compounds such as polyethylene papers and plastic materials, which block drainage systems, causing diseases and giving habitat for the growth of disease-causing microorganisms.

Being Part of the Solution

Having an even distribution of resources, such as having job creation even in rural areas, could lead to decreased urbanization as more people would find it unnecessary to move to urban centers. This will lead to decreased urban congestion, hence a decrease in solid hazardous wastes. Improving conditions in different parts of the country will lead to decreased urbanization. This may include the introduction of affordable housing conditions in the suburbs. Improved public transport and infrastructure may also have a great impact on reducing urbanization as most people move to urban areas due to convenient transport systems. Recycling of waste products like plastic can help reduce solid hazardous waste in the environment. Treatment of sewer water and building of good sewer drainage systems may also reduce solid hazardous waste exposure.
