Understand what our book pages provide, where you can read the original works, and how to raise a copyright or accuracy concern.
Book information and access are different.
A listing, summary or link on Academic Master does not mean we own the book or hold a licence to republish its full text. For external-access books, we provide information and direct you to the publisher or another authorised source.
What you will find in our library
Our book pages help students discover academic reading through bibliographic details, contents where available, study summaries and links to original sources. Our study material is supplementary and should be checked against the relevant edition. A summary is not the full book and does not replace reading or citing the original work.
Where the full book is available
- Read online: opens the publisher’s or authorised provider’s online reader when available.
- Publisher’s book details: opens the source’s information, purchase or access page.
- Download PDF: opens a PDF resource. The provider may make your browser download it rather than display it.
External access may be free, limited to a preview, require purchase, or depend on a university or subscription login. Follow the access information on the book page and the original provider’s website. Links and availability can change.
Books hosted on Academic Master
Some entries may offer a book hosted on this website under an applicable open licence, public-domain status or other permission. This is separate from our external-link listings. Consult the source, attribution and licence information associated with that particular edition. A free-to-read book is not automatically free to copy or redistribute, and permissions may differ for illustrations, covers, translations or other included material.
Copyright and attribution
Rights in the original books, covers and other third-party material remain with their respective rights holders, subject to any applicable licence or public-domain status. Listing a book does not transfer those rights to Academic Master or to visitors. Please follow the original source’s terms and the permissions applicable to your intended use and location.
Our inclusion of a title or link does not imply an affiliation with, or endorsement by, its author, publisher, university or provider.
External websites and your privacy
When you follow an external reading, download or purchase link, you leave Academic Master. The destination has its own access rules, privacy practices and terms. We do not control its prices, account requirements, availability or later changes. Our own website’s data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Accuracy, editions and corrections
Different editions can have different chapter structures, page numbers and wording. Please use the edition and source identified on the book page. If you notice an incorrect attribution, broken link, inaccurate summary or mismatched edition, let us know so the entry can be reviewed.
Copyright concerns and removal requests
If you own or represent rights in material that you believe should not appear here, use the removal-request form on the relevant book page or contact Academic Master. Include the book-page URL, the specific material at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, relevant supporting information and a way to contact you. Requests are reviewed so that appropriate corrections, restrictions or removal can be considered. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information.
