The Ideal Work Environment

The notions of prospective employees with distinct perceptions of work ethics and their engagement in an ideal work environment share an inextricable bond within an organization. Every work environment has its own distinct culture in which employees breathe the healthy workaholic air, wear dresses accordingly, and communicate their freedom of expression of opinions. That culture is all about how different people of different generations with different work ethics treat each other and utilize the resources around them. The nature of distinctive and growing work culture enables the employees to develop and influence healthy individual perceptions within the organization. (Setiyani et al, 2019) In an ideal work environment, employees feel motivated and try to yield constructive criticism of their bosses/supervisors and colleagues so that they can give their best efforts. An ideal work environment constitutes positive work ethics, builds a positive organizational culture, and reinforces an individual employee’s engagement to vigorously develop an ideal work environment within the organization.

What dictates a significant and positive scenario in the work environment is respect for co-workers and trust in their own abilities. The level of trust and respect that an employee feels within the work environment demonstrates how he/she would respond in a certain conflicted situation and what an individual employee would be capable of. There are many great organizations in the world that intentionally transformed their workplace environment and achieved extraordinary organizational success. Centennial Medical Center in Tennessee is one of the organizations which set a dramatic example of amazing organizational success in 1992 by innovating the “Person-centered Leadership” approach in their organization. That shift of workplace culture lifted this bankrupt organization from the rink in over four years that the Center became the greatest for-profit medical complex in the United States. (Arnold and Plas, 1993) The management applied the “Person-centered Leadership” principle to make employees understand the importance of individual contribution which fostered creativity and accountability in every employee of that organization. Every employee and his/her contributions were considered significant and workers were treated with respect and dignity to foster the impression of that organization as a caring work environment.

Moreover, employees’ engagement to grow a wholesome and ideal work environment is a ground-breaking key to organizational success. Organizations to resolve their crucial corporate matters empower their employees to influence effective employee motivation and engagement so that they can do stunning things to foster efficient work environment culture. A prospective organization that wants to thrive in the limitless business world understands the fact that motivated and cheerful employees are benefit-creating and productive. Therefore, the manager of the respective organization is bound to hold such steadfast employees and grants massive encouraging rewards to reinforce employees’ consistent achievement and improvement within the organization.

Employees who work in a favorable, free, and conducive work environment contribute accomplishing endeavors to the organization. A relaxing work environment along with freedom of expression of opinions provides workers the sense of faithfulness towards their duty within the organization and therefore they can expand the productivity of the organization. (Setiyani et al, 2019) Besides, the whole of the physical work environment such as seating arrangements, dress code, and hardware requirements affect employee engagement. Employees’ abilities, confidence, and the level of trust they acquire from the physical work environment around them, and their energetic performance feature the accomplishment and uniqueness of the workplace environment (Arnold and Plas, 1993). To meet this level of achievement, an organization needs the positive involvement of motivated employees to sustain an ideal work environment. The higher employee engagement adds significantly to the employee’s performance and resultantly enhances the organization’s achievement rate.

In conclusion, an employee’s motivation, empowerment, and engagement are the factors that constitute an ideal work environment and as positive reinforcement, everyone in an organization gets his share of profit.
