Prevention Of Bullying

  • There must be bullying awareness programs in schools to prevent it.
  • Group counselling must be encouraged in school, and bullying therapy programs should be designed for particular children and students.

Many schools have specially designed a bullying awareness week. Bullying is becoming a disease, and it is continuously spreading. Fun activities are letting children learn more about bullying. Children must know the consequences of bullying and its outcomes. Schools must also encourage and necessitate all of their teachers to exclaim as they witness bullying anywhere, and teachers must not neglect it. Schools should conduct a survey among the students to see how many children have faced bullying and harassment during school hours. There are thousands of students and children all over the United States and Canada who are facing sexual harassment and bullying. They are mentally torching the kids, and children become addicted to drugs and alcohol as the result of bullying and even start hurting themselves. The lack of interest among schools and teachers is also one of the reasons for increasing bullying day by day (Regoli, R. M, & J. Hewitt, & M. DeLisi, 2015).

Students who are the victims of bullying and harassment should be referred to proper treatment and undergo bullying therapy so that they can come out from the depression. If only one of the above options were available for Amanda, her life could be saved.
