Why Tourists Should Visit Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is considered by many to be a tropical paradise. Other people argue that visiting this country is like flying to Boise but in some magical manner you land in some tropical paradise. The Caribbean Island is full of holiday homes that are well structured to offer the best comfort of the busy life of the United States. There are a number of reasons therefore why tourists should choose to visit this part of the world instead of any other part.

The very first reason is the ease to get there. You don’t need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico. It operates like a United States territory and therefore visitors are not required to drag their passports around (Berbusse, 2017). You simply board a plane like you are going to any local destination without filing any paperwork. In addition to that, visitors are not subjected to any custom checks. Customs checks are the most annoying thing when it comes to international travel. But for Puerto Rico, US citizen doesn’t have to go through that process (Gayle & Goodrich, 2014). You just land and get in your taxi and go wherever you want to enjoy yourself.

After the ease of transport, the second thing is the beauty that is witnessed in the Island. The diverse landscape gives the country a very beautiful scenery. From mountains to beautiful white sand beaches and even big cities to finish your day exploring (Rivera, 2016). Therefore visitors have a lot of options to choose from ranging from laying at the beach or shopping in the vast range of local stores or even taking part in the nightlife and entertainment options in the cities. In doing all that, visitors don’t have to worry about changing currency. The US dollar can be used to pay for anything in this country, therefore, visitors don’t have to bust their heads figuring out the exchange rates (Soler-Figueroa & Otero, 2015).

Puerto Rico has the most beautiful golden brown sand beaches in the world. For instance, the beach on Palomino Island is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. It is surrounded by the giant iguanas and plenty of opportunities to enjoy yourself (Mendez et al 2014). The country is also home to the world’s tallest Zip line starting at 853 feet and stretching up to 4,745 feet long (Palmié & Scarano, 2013). As if that is not enough, the country caters for children as it holds the world’s coolest children museum. Most of us want what is best for our kids and entertainment is one of those things we want our kids to have. Puerto Rico hosts the Museo del Nino museum that is located just a few minutes’ drives from San Juan. They have a ton of interactive and entertaining exhibits for children. They also have a petting zoo that is home to the world’s nicest cow. This place is absolutely amazing for kids under 12 years and thus can be a good memory for any kid in the world (Duany, 2017).

Puerto Rico is also home to the only tropical rain forest in the US territory. This provides a good place to hike and enjoy yourself. Driving around the mountain is not only enjoyable and beautiful it is also educational as you get to see a whole lot of plants, birds and even wild animals that take the forest as their home (García, Vázquez, & Macías, 2015). This is a perfect place for nature lovers and the last time I checked most people love nature. In addition to the beaches and the tropical forest, Puerto Rico is home to two bioluminescent bays. Kayaking through this bay is in itself an experience that anyone would want to have (Lugo & Lowe, 2012). And finally, Puerto Rico accepts credit cards thus you don’t have to cut your trip shot just because you run out of your budget.

Therefore it is evident from the reasons above that Puerto Rico is the best place in the world that anybody could want to visit. It has all sorts of beauty that anyone could think of. This ranges from the beautiful beaches to the tropical rainforests, the bioluminescent bay and even the beautiful cities. And most importantly the ease of operating there makes everything run smoothly. No need to worry about the customs or the currency. All is covered when you visit Puerto Rico.
