What Is Spirituality

Spirituality is the quest of scared. Also, it includes any blissful experience or the search for purpose and inspiration in one’s life. Spirituality is in alignment with the laws of the universe, and it strives to find the answers. Moreover, it interferes with physical health, stress and mental illness as well (Hayek, 2012). However, spirituality is also defined as the laws and principles which are not concerned with religion but which define the person in the context of society. Pluralism means the acceptance of all the options and treating them as one. It allows the coexistence of many systems, political, social or religious, together. Scientism means to believe that scientific methods and approaches are applicable everywhere in this world; also, scientific methods govern human learning. Postmodernism can be defined in many ways, but for me, it is the fact that reality is not only what the human mind thinks and understands, but it also explains that our mind strives to understand reality (Hutcheon, 2013). It deals with the experiences of people and their comparison with the principles; however, it is assumed that experiences will be imperfect.

The prime reality is the existence of God, someone who is real and who does not sleep. He is divine, untouchable and invisible. No one has ever seen him, but he exists; there is no proof that he exists, and also, there is no proof that he sleeps. The prime reality is His power to be present everywhere, all the time. There are no limitations or boundaries defined for him. He is the real one. People see the work with their perceptions and each of us has a different understanding (Jones,2010). For me, the world around us is governed by logic and laws. I believe that God created this world, and he is aware of all incidents before they happen. He knows about all the happenings. Chaotic situations are a part of life in this world, so we may learn from bad times. As a reward, we do not take the good times for granted. Therefore, God has a reason for everything that happens in the world.

Human beings are defined by their self-awareness. It is the link between two people. Ethics are formed in collaboration with self-awareness, and also, humans are also given free choices. Some people may call humans a machine that has complex brains, but I believe we are the superior creations of God. He has vested us with the strongest mental powers and emotions to live our lives in love. All humans are equal, and everyone has got these powers.

The personal worldview defines the thought of a person on the happenings after death. When the life ends, a person becomes a memory for the rest of the people. People do not have the physical touch of the dead, but they have memories. Also, I believe that our lives and our actions will define the life after our death. How do we live and how we treat others, our good and bad deeds will be accounted for and as a reward, and good people enter the heavens. Similarly, bad ones are punished by God in hell. I firmly believe in the Day of Judgment when we will be questioned, and the life after the inquiry will be eternal.

Being a part of this world, we are firmly influenced by the good as well as bad practices of the world. It is possible to know anything because we humans have standards and knowledge of all things. We determine our future, and our acts and efforts bring fruit to us. We are independent enough to decide what we want from our lives and make our own choices. We are tied up in this universe, and sometimes, we become what others want us to be. However, a real man always follows his instincts and guts. His duty is to his heart only. Also, if we ponder on ethics, there has been a lot of evolution. We were created by God, but later, we were given the control of learning and availing opportunities. We live our lives and gain experience; knowledge is a gift of these experiences. No one is born with all the knowledge; we acquire it with the passage of time and develop our skills with age.

God has bestowed us with the power to think and rationale. There is a moral law which is familiar with the nature of God. He gives us moral nature and its clues through his commands and moral conscience, which is a gift to all humans. Both these things help us determine what is right and what is wrong. A person can easily judge the act on the scale of right and wrong by thinking about God’s nature.

History is all about the creation of human beings, which God did on purpose and his plans. When Adam and Eve sinned, they were sent to earth. Since then, God has a history to explain his idea of salvation and restoration. I strongly believe in the concept of life and death, the resurrection of Jesus and his eternity. Also, archeological discoveries are also a part of human history because the Holy book also cited the findings of archeologists. Human history prepares the next generations to face life and its odds.
