What is Friendship? Essay

Friendship is a word familiar to everyone and most of the people explain it in different context according to their knowledge and perspective but nobody has a real definition of friendship. The emotion of frankness and affection with a positive involvement of emotion, care and competition between two individuals is known as friendship. It is basically a relationship between the friends. For me, friends are the people who reserve special rights in our life.

The true friends always fulfill three main criteria of friendship including obligations, duties, and responsibilities and never step back. It is known that signing up for a friendship requires becoming responsible for some basic rights and privileges related to own as well as other owners. For example, a friend drops me at home late night or asks me for some money until the payday. Expects an uninvited acceptance on celebrations or want me to join him at parties. Any relationship can be balanced on equal contribution so it is required for reciprocal obligations.

The duties include keeping in touch with the friend and helping him with every problem. Friendship requires responsibilities which include listening to his concerns and personal problems and let him comfortable with you. Friends make us strengthen, rich and complete to fight against lot many social, educational, career and financial problems. Every friend is a treasure and losing him means losing a part of the body.

In a nutshell, friendship is the most important relationship of the life. I have a dog but he could not be considered as a friend. A waitress at the corner of the street has a friendly behavior. She makes good jokes but she also could not be considered as a good friend. It starts from the start of life and goes till death. All the other relationships are limited but friendship is always unlimited. I have three friends and I admire them for their good management to keep me healthy wealthy and wise in all regards.
