Theories and Philosophies of Learning and Teaching

According to scholars, philosophy is conceptual, and mostly makes use of various beliefs as well as theories. Contrary to the beliefs, theories tend to bank on practical processes related to learning. As a consequence, theories have the best understanding of an occurrence at a given instance and tend to answer the various questions related to philosophy. Teaching and learning present some theories and some of them include behaviorism as well as Reconstructionism among others. The various philosophies present different theories to support the findings. That is necessary for improving the validity. Moreover, it is possible to have the right beliefs as well as orders in the integration. In other terms, theories tend to value the various aspects of observations, and that can at times refer to the set hypothesis necessary for fostering understanding (Davis & Sumara, 2014). The ability to use these two concepts is helpful since they play a major role in predicting as well as describing behavior in various instances. According to the theories of education, it is imperative to address some questions. For instance, answering questions related to whether children learn in the morning will bank on some theories.

It is apparent that theories and philosophy both add to the body of knowledge in teaching and learning. In the field of education, I am likely to bank on the aspects of creating a better understanding of the necessary processes to reinforce an understanding (Anderson, 2016). After a comprehensive understanding of the difference that exists between the two aspects and an understanding of how they apply in contemporary society, it is feasible to apply every concept in the right domain, and that will impact positively in learning (Davis & Sumara, 2014). After an understanding of the aspects, it is possible to cover some aspects of the dissertation such as the relationships as well as the elements that need further research to build on the body of knowledge.
