The Organisational Structure of WMH

Introduction

Organizational structural play an essential role in any organisation. If an organisational structure of any organisation suit to the function and purpose of an organisation it is a symbol of strength, if the organisation structure of any organisation contradicts with the purpose and function of any organisation it creates problem and organisation cannot perform their proper function, this structure creates a weakness for the organisation. Every organisation have some limitation and success of regulatory structure vary organisation. If organisational structure one organisation is successful and gave the excellent result (Laloux, 2014). It is not guaranteed that this structure will provide each effect in other organisation where the situation is different. An organisational structure that is failing in one organisation may give good result in another organisation.

This is a need that organisation adopt those organisational, functional structure that is according to the demand who address the purpose and function of the organisation or help to achieve the objectives of the organization (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). Every organisational structure has some limitations, some time this limitation helps the organisation to achieve their goals and sometimes this limitation creates a hurdle to achieve their objectives.

The current organisational structure of WMH is a democratic structural model, in this model of the organisational structure is have the rate of formalities due to that this structural model does not suit WMH because WMH needs to change their structural model and adopt another structural model that help to achieve the objectives of the WMH easily (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). In bureaucratic organisational structure model, there is lot formality it is challenging to brings change in WMH (Laloux, 2014). The bureaucratic model takes every time to bring change in the organisation if you want to changes in the organisation that is necessary for organisation, and that will help the organisation to achieve their objectives and support to perform function correctly.

The current functional structure is an old and weak structure of the hospital. Its demand of time that we update and modify the functional structure of hospital according to the requirement of time. There are a need and time demand that you change your organisational composition according to the needs and necessity, it will help to perform your functional accurately (Laloux, 2014).

The organisational structure of any organisation or company play an essential role in the functions, that performed by the company. There are many examples where weak structure causes many problems and affect negatively on the performance of the organisation. If there is the sound organisational structure of any organisation have they have a well coordinate you see a positive change(Laloux, 2014). Organizational structure is the backbone of any organisation or company.

The strengths and limitations of the bureaucratic functional model

Strengths:

The bureaucratic organisational structural model is very organised. In more organisation, this model is adopted by the many organisation because in this model the ratio of mistake and wrong decision is very minimum.

Limitations:

The current organisational model of WMH is a bureaucratic style and in the bureaucratic structural model is a very organised high degree of formality. Due to high formality rate this model cause many problems when the rate of decorum is high, it will slow the process of development and decisions take extra time which causes many problems(Laloux, 2014). WMH needs improvement according to the needs of the time, and it will require that WMH upgraded but due to bureaucratic model this process is prolonged, and they create many problems.

WMH goals and objective:

Every primary hospital objective is to give better health facilities to the patient and provide an environment that is patient friendly that helps the patient to recover quickly. WMH goals and purpose is to provide better health facilities to the people and excellent and patient-friendly environment, but due to fewer resources, it cannot be easy to achieve their objective with the current. WMH need to extend the capacity of the hospital which fulfils the growing need of the large population(Laloux, 2014). Currently, WMH has 130 bed which meet the requirement of the community ten year ago, but due to the massive increase in population during last ten years, it is difficult fo WMH current capacity to better health facilities to the people. To gave better health facilities to the community, it is a demand that we extend WMH from 130 beds to 250 that fulfil the needs of growing population. Increase in a number of the bed will help to achieve their goals and objectives(Arndt & Bigelow, 1995). The current organisational structure takes a lot of formality that can create hurdles to bring changes in the construction of the WMH.

Another demand is that state gave high quality and unique treatment to the advanced disease that will not be possible in the current resources. Time demands that WMH hair a new expert staff and new technology that will help WMH to achieve their goals and objectives there are many new health problems the current structure cannot solve these problems. Time demands that changes may come at a large scale that will help WMH to achieve there goals and objectives(Arndt & Bigelow, 1995).

There are many health problems such as cancer, paediatric, cardiovascular, renal services, trauma services, aged care and community services etc. WMH have currently not in a position to give the advance health facilities to the patient of these diseases (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). To gave advance health facilities, WMH needs to bring changes according to the needs and demands of time.

The current environment of hospitals is not patient friendly; patients face many problems in basic health needs and organisation have not capacity to give an advance and proper health facilities to the patient because there is lack of resources. WMH faces lack of resources it is a high hurdle that cannot meet WMH to their aims, objectives and goals.

The mission of WMH is to give better health facilities to the people, but it is tough for WMH to gave batter health facilities with this situation where WMH faces a shortage of resources that cannot be enough to fulfil the needs of WMH (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). The current organisational structure is old and traditional which is not applicable in an existing scenario where time s demands a lot of changes in the structure.

Importance of the organisation mission, goals and objectives:

The organisational structure is a body that defines powers and functions in any organisation that help in the smooth running of organisation or company. It will help a company how to meet the challenge and full the required demands. Avery organisation is well defined organisational structure.

The divisional Organizational Structure that might better suit the WMH:

Every organisation needs a function that helps to achieve their objectives the old traditional organisational model not in a position that will help WMH to achieve their aims and objectives. The new regulatory model “the divisional organisation structure” is in better in a place that allows WMH to achieve their goals and objectives (Arndt & Bigelow, 1995). In this model, there is a low rate of formalism and the decision making process is easy as compared to the old bureaucratic structural model in which the rate of formality is too high, and it is tough to take new decisions that are the demand of time(Laloux, 2014).

It is a demand of time we change our organisational structure according to the needs of the time, and that will help us to handle modern challenges and issues. WMH have financial resources, and it is the demand that the hospital that has 130 beds not fulfil the requirements of the people (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). Due to the high increase in population, it is the demand of time, which we upgrade hospital up to 250 beds and also increase other facilities that need. It is necessary that we open new care centre specialty services including cancer, paediatric, cardiovascular, renal services, trauma services, and aged care and community services (Laloux, 2014).

The divisional Organisational Structure model that might better suit the WMH. In new structural setup, there is separated administrative services, informational services, therapeutic services, diagnostic services and support services (Fiorio, Gorli & Verzillo, 2018). Each of them not interferes in the functions of other, and they are sovereign in the decision-making process. It will help to enhance the effectiveness of the WMH and meet modern demand and challenges that faced WMH.

Conclusion:

Organisational structure plays a vital role in any organisation. If a regulatory structure of the organisation is right and help the organisation to achieve their goal,s it is the strength of the organisation if the organisation structure of the organisation cannot support the organisation to achieve their goals and objective it creates weaknesses.Organizational structure plays an essential role in any organisation. Behind every success and failure, there is the hand of the structural body of any organisation. In the hospital, there is an organisational structure that helps to run the affairs of the hospital smoothly.

Current organisational structure of WMH is an old and traditional and that cannot meet the demands of modern time and help WMH to achieve their objectives. A divisional regulatory structure hospital has well managed and fulfils the needs and challenges. Organizational structure is a backbone of any organisation. The divisional Organizational Structural model that might better suit the WMH as compare to bureaucratic structural model and help to WMH to achieve their objectives and goals.
