What are your short and long-term professional goals?
The diverse analytical concepts of the finance industry have always fascinated me; therefore, throughout my graduation, I have efficiently tried to grab their maximum knowledge in order to achieve my long-term goal of becoming a finance manager in this dynamic industry. However, during my different internships as a financial research assistant at various financial institutions, I have also realized that to earn a competitive position in the highly challenging and creative environment of the financial markets, I need more in-depth knowledge of the dominant financial theories and analytical skills and tools which can only be acquired by pursuing a master program in finance. This finally led to my short-term goals of developing my knowledge of the finance sector as a manager and, finally, upon completion of my master’s, successfully entering into this challenging industry. Furthermore, during my master’s at the University of San Francisco, by participating in different finance-related activities, I intend to polish my management and communication skills, which are highly recommended by finance professionals, to effectively collaborate with the team members as well as professionally communicate with the clients to add value both to the workplace and the business output.
