A pattern in which two women and two men marry each other called same-sex marriage. It was uncommon, in the world, but in last some decades, this pattern increasingly emerged around the world. In the United States of America, this pattern emerged from 1970’s onward. There were numerous debates occurred on the topic that this method should be legalized as many gay or lesbian partners wanted to marry each other. The method was prohibited but the partnership was allowed in the country. Moreover, when the gay and lesbian partners started to participate in the movements that arise in the country on the legalized way of same-sex marriage, it generated several issues regarding the method. Some authorities suggested that this way of the partnership is immoral or unethical. But the people who support the same-sex marriage idea argued that there should be no restriction in love either it’s between two men or two women. The rate of gay and lesbian partners increased in the country and their fight to legalize the same-sex marriage spread all over the country. In 2004, Massachusetts became the first state of America that legalized the same-sex marriage. Later on, a decade later, in 2014 same-sex marriage legalized all over the country. It happened due to numerous movements and arguments created by same-sex partners in the country with their supporters. The concept lies in the fact that two people whether male or female love someone should have the right to marry him or her, and under the authorized jurisdiction. In the viewpoint of gay and lesbians, they started the concept that if they were not allowed to marry their partners, then they are not having equal rights as the other straight American people. It leads to the implementation of laws that legalized the same-sex marriage in the United States.
