Poor Quality of Drinking Water Essay

Undoubtedly, the element of water is one of the basic needs of the world. The existence of the living creatures cannot be imagined without the usage of the water. The unfortunate aspect associated with the feature of water is that universe immensely facing the challenge of the water crisis. It is the harsh reality of the world that people living in some underdeveloped region of the world have not the approach of the clean water or even they are facing the issue of scarcity of water (Hunter et al.). The particular situation of the water in the world is immensely alarming as statistics show that there is only 2.5% water exist in the world which can be characterized as the fresh water. The scarcity of the freshwater or poor quality of the water is the real issue of the world as it makes the sustainability of the planet difficult and risky. Here the focus is to determine the different features of cause and effects of the issue of the poor quality of the drinking water.

It is crucial to understand that the particular crisis of water can be identified of the scarcity of the water or the poor quality of water when it comes to its usage for the whole population of the world. It is immensely unfortunate that safe and clean drinking water become the luxury for many people specifically living in the regions of Africa. People have to do an immense level of struggle to approach to the water which might be identified as the contaminated water. The main cause of the prevailing issue of the poor quality of the drinking water can be identified as the overuse or the misuse of the feature of water by some individuals.

It is evident that if some specific population inefficiently use the blessing of the water then it becomes difficult for some population to utilize the clean and safe form of the water in their lives. The misuse or the overuse of the water adversely impact the natural resources of the water and become the reason for the scarcity of the water in the world. Mismanagement of the overall paradigm of the water resources is another cause of the prevailing issue of poor quality of the water in water. It is observed that world is complete fail to intact the existing sources of the water and never take necessary measure to expand the paradigm of water for the sustainability of the universe (Schmoll). Another crucial cause which can be observed in case of the poor condition of the water is that usage of water become immensely expensive for some individuals. There is the existence of the unfair paradigm of pricing of water which makes it difficult for the poor populations of the world to consume the clear and pure form of water.

The implications or the effects of the water issue are also crucial as it leads the world to the calamity of the water crisis. The major effect of the poor form of the drinking water can be identified in the form of the sustainability of the humans and other living creatures. The issue of water can affect the living paradigm of the people as it is the mandatory feature of living. Another major effect which can be identified in case of poor quality of the water is it can be the cause of different severe diseases. Consumption of the poor quality water hinders the developmental growth of the children. An inadequate form of the drinking water also has its effects in case of the hygienic pattern of the people (Lee and Schwab). Poor quality of the water usage makes it impossible for the people to adopt the necessary approach of sanitation in their lives.

Quality of water is one crucial concern of the world and it should be addressed by the stakeholders on the priority basis. Proper identification and the understanding of the different causes and the effects of the issue of the poor quality of the water ultimately helps to find the necessary solutions for this particular problem and leads the world towards the more healthy and prosperous paradigm without any discrimination.
