Media portrayal of Trump and Pence as Anti-Gay

The issue if anti-gay is an issue that trump and his administration work to eradicate in the United States. Regardless of his promise to the citizens during his campaigns, Trump is seen to go against his pledge to the Lesbians, gay, bisexual, and transgender community (LGBT) (Cooper, Julie). One of the evidence is his initiative to bar all transgender people from joining the military. The media is hence unfair in its activity to showcase the actions of the president. The vice president also appears to support the same perspective of the president (Oppenheim, Maya).

The vice president signed Indiana ‘Religious Freedom Act; that gave the power to bar gay people. The media only show false stories, yet the truth is that the two are anti-gay. First, he is addressed supporting the athletes’ contributions in South Korea and insisting that the information about his anti-gay is untrue (Nick Duffy, PinkNews). Also, trump reports promising the LGBT community support yet the reality is that he is working against them. The two demand that the government cannot afford to spend on disruptions (Oppenheim, Maya).

Government Individuals who admit being an anti-guy claim that gays are among the top contributors to HIV/AIDS in the United States. They demand that the government need to spend on areas that are profitable (Savage, Michael). The argument is that the LGBT community is not a useful area to drain government resources. The justice officials also support that it is unworthy to have discrimination protection for the LGBT community.

Based on the biased of the different reporting agencies, I feel that obtaining a credible report to use as evidence is hard. T her e is lack of openness between the media housed and the congregations they depend on; individuals are using the media houses to defend their unethical traits. For instance, the Vice-president claims to be supporting the gay community yet it is evidenced by his actions that he is not supporting them. He argues that supporting the community is a waste of government resources. When he meets the LGBT people, he changes his view about them only to remain commendable by the group.
