Create a Unit Plan

Unit plan is a model structure that guides the way the teacher will teach the student in the class. It is well-planned work that guides teacher how to give his content of work to the student so that they may comprehend it well. Mostly it shows the flow of the work or the lesson. The unit plan can be developed from scratch or previous studies. Scratch unit plan is developed where there is the new introduction of the subject to the student, or you have met with the student for the first time. On the other hand, as you continue with teaching you develop the plan from the previous lesson. There is the free online resource that is used to create unity study that better-fit children. The unit plan consists of the following: process standards, sequence, and scope of what is taught every day, teaching model and strategies, practice and assessments.

Therefore steps used to create the unit plan is as follows:

Decide on the theme or topic.

Select beginning date and specify the duration of the unit

The unit plan should place during the free time of the children. This should not interfere with the daily routine of the children. If you are the home teacher of the children, your unit place will be followed during the weekend or evening hour after their daily schooling. If you are the teacher at the school, the plan will be used during the lesson.

Plan activities according to the ability of the children

The activities planned in the unit plan should consider the age of the children. Children should be group according to their age and assign activity based on the ability of the children. They should place in groups to encourage competitions that will motive each child. The teacher should have a good way to record his activities. Unit plan activities should record by use of the audio recorder, photographing, and video recording or document all the activities for future reference. After long unit plan study, there should be special ending of the plan. This will show termination of the plan. It is important to analyze your performance and makes change were necessary when developing anew unity plan.

Unit planning is an organized approach that assists teachers to reflect on what student wants to accomplish in each unit.
