A postmodern film is centred in the styles and concept of art, criticism and architecture which represents a form of modernism characterised by self-conscious. The film delves in modern way of doing things. It wants to draw all the attention of the audience. It tells a story in a particular way changing the meaning of storytelling.
Classical films are popularly referred to as timeless quality of lasting worth. These films are made well with great acting, dialogue and music. A classic film concentrates on historical details, the scenery and costumes are deeply thought of and done in the right way. When watching a classical film one tends to become so deeply engrossed, this is so as the film is believable, thereby absorbing the audience into the movie.

For the filmmaker to recreate it into a classical film you have to change several aesthetics of the movie. The movie is set in a postmodern Atlanta town. To classify as a classical movie the director has to change Atlanta scenery into the 1970s.

Changing these will assist in the general change of the film to a classical film. The narrative of a postmodern film is based on the cultural scenery.
