I am very fond of planning and spending my holidays full of fun. Last summers, I and my best friend planned to spend our summers together at my place. Initially, my friend didn’t get permission to spend the holidays at my home as he is the only child of his parents and they never leave him alone. He asked me to let my parents talk to his so that his parents could be satisfied and they allow him to come to my place. My mother succeeded in convincing my friend’s mother, and he got permission to stay for a week. We both were so happy and excited.
The next evening, his parents came to leave him here with us. We both got amused to see each other and with the fact that we could have a week’s fun together. His parents stayed for dinner and then left. The whole night, we stayed up and planned for our week, laughed, and made fun of each other. We got up on the roof to see the sunrise, and after that, we slept for few hours. We woke up almost at lunchtime. My mother had already cooked food for us. We both went downstairs and had lunch with my mother. My mother was glad to have my friend at home. We talked about our plans with Mom, and she gave us more ideas to execute our plans. After lunch, we went to the playground for playing cricket. I already had called my neighbor friends a day before, to have a cricket match. All the team members were waiting for my friend and me. I introduced my friend to them, and then we started teaming and played the game. My friend was also on my team, and we had a tough game, though we won the match. After the game, we went back to home. We were hungry, so we got fresh and ate fruits because it was a little time for dinner. By the time, we were done with our grains, my father also arrived. He surprised us with his plan to spend our day at the beach of San Carlos on the weekend. We all got amused by his idea. And the day ended with the delicious meal my mother cooked for us.
The next day, we had a plan to watch a movie in the cinema. We woke up early that morning, made our breakfast at home and got ready to go outside as I had to show my friend some places near my house and then we had to go to the cinema. After showing him some places it, we went to the movie and took some snacks with us inside the theatre. We enjoyed the film, and I took him to a cafe for having a cup of coffee. We spent our evening like this and went back to home. We shared our entire day’s enjoyment with my parents on the dinner table. The next day we had to go to the beach, so we prepared our stuff at night and went to sleep as we had to wake up early.
On our way to the beach, we enjoyed radio and sandwiches which my mother prepared for us. By reaching there, we started with playing dodgeball. My mother and father teamed together, and my friend and I were the other. Then the next thing we did was riding the ATV. My friend and I both were crazy about it. I let him ride it, and I sat at the back. We were enjoying the ride and started speeding a little that suddenly a kid was coming in front of us. To protect the boy, my friend hit the ATV in the tree. We both got unconscious. The next thing I know was that I woke up in hospital, but I had no injury, and my friend had severe injuries. We got so excited that we forgot to low down our speed as it was a public place and we could have injured the young kid. Later, my friend’s injuries got healed, and we decided to keep this incident as our first and last mistake.
