Analysis of a Company Sales and Profit by Products

Week 4: Company Brochure

As a customer a good website is a detailed and clear website easy to view and most needed information are be found on the first page. The web site should have home page, products and service and links for guidance and other relevant information. Therefore, a manager or a company should include, links to other information, “About tap”, “Products and Services”, “support tap,” scroll bar at the end to give customers an easy time in browsing the website. It is important to offer online chart to answer questions which customers might have as they browse through the website. The 24/7 online chart can be automated to ensure that various questions regarding services and products of a company is properly answered. Based on research and analysis of several websites, the components which should be included in the company’s websites are; things about the company which includes the board members, staff and the entire organizational chart. A company website should contain the details about the company’s products and services it offers the market, the link where customers can chart or interact directly with the company, if it is purchase or online store, there should be a purchase link and payment as well. A good website should provide navigating links on the top and should be clear and detailed with few pictures. The navigating links should be arranged on the top left of the website and there must be a bar link which gives customers links about the company and other information customers might need.

Week 4: Web Page

It is appropriate note the company’s website was built through “Bluehost.com”. A Bluehost.com is self web build site where individuals can use templates to design and build a good web site without having any problem. I choose to use “Bluehost.com” because it is simple and free site for building a website as long as the hosting as been paid and URL for the company is given. However, some of the problem which are experience when creating a website are gathering the right information for the website, getting the right hosting company, how to make website compliance with website accessibility standard and how to improve the users experience.

In order to over the challenges JQuery was used to improve the efficiently and usability if the website so that even people with disability can use the site. The detailed information was gathered and analyzes to make sure that the correct and only appropriate information are uploaded to the site. Research was also conducted on several hosting company through feedbacks to make sure that a reliable and effective company are chosen as the hosting firm. I did not know how to link social media page of a company with website and how they can be used simultaneously for the benefit of the company and through practicing, have known and I can properly link different social media page and make them so interactive in engaging customers.
