Above all, I have overcome one of my greatest fear which was public speaking, during my placement. It helps me to bring me out from my comfort zone. I was able to give presentations for my class very confidently due to this placement experience.

I was hoping to learn more about distribution side of production in Ian’s business class, but it was not part of the course. Instead, I learned a lot more about how to get film funding in Canada which I think this is also very helpful and informative for an emerging filmmaker like myself. My expectations for the fourth year was to work on projects that I am passionate about; I didn’t find any project that I truly enjoy working on.
