It has been observed that generally people are being parted into two groups especially when they are giving their opposite stance to another group. It is true that perceptive and thinking differs and people are free to take their stance on controversial issues. Usually, two groups are formed one who agrees with the scenario and others who disagree. Though it may seem strange to some recently people are being categorized into two categories on a controversial issue regarding plants and zombies. One of the groups believes that zombies are better than plants. They claim that it is wrong to consider zombies as antagonists rather they must be considered as friends. While on the other hand, another group opposes the first group. There is various evidence that supports the claim that zombies are misunderstood (Donnelly, 2014). Claims and reviews suggest that there is a need to look deep down at the details for revealing the fact that it is not the zombies that are a threat for humans, rather plants are the real antagonists.
It has been witnessed that in Hollywood movies the way Zombies are portrayed, it fears humans and that is the main reason why Zombies are considered someone who destroys the land and threats humans. In most of the movies, Zombies are shown as creatures that eat human tissue and are undead. People who enjoy more horror raised many questions that why Zombies are always presented as antagonists and this question inculcate in many researchers an instinct to work upon this creature. Verstynen and Bradley covered a lengthy study on Zombies in which they claimed that there is a need to look in-depth for revealing the fact that actually, zombies are friends, not the enemies. Some also believe that the zombie’s behavior points towards is a neurological condition. There is a need to understand the fact that Zombies don’t eat humans rather they only need some human-like tissues that satisfy their hunger.
It won’t be wrong to say that it is easy to misunderstand things and individuals about whom people know nothing. Same goes with the Zombies, for knowing the fact that they are friends, not the antagonists there is an extreme need to study Zombie’s behavior. They need help as their brains maintain very limited abilities i.e. allow them to move their limbs, neck, and jaws, etc. They are much better than some humans who kill hundreds of people in terrorist activities and threaten international peace. Not only movies but there are other things as well that are used for conveying a thought which may revolutionize the idea that people have about something. As in the game Plant vs. Zombies, it has been seen that plants are uncovered as the real culprits while zombies are supported as real friends. This idea incorporates in human’s instinct to dig out the reality and positively thinks of zombies. There is also a message that sometimes, veil helps in deceiving but the real eye and research could help in knowing the truth.
Limited thinking must be changed as there is a need to look out of the box as it is the time to reveal the hidden. Zombies are one of the creatures about whom people don’t have their viewpoint rather they perceive Zombies as they are direct to think of. It is interesting to note that people considered that plants are their friends rather not much of the people know that not the Zombies but plants are the real antagonist. Keeping this controversial issue in mind in 2009 a game was also launched in which it has been portrayed that zombies are better than plants (Games, 2009). Keeping in mind this game (plants vs. zombies) it could be said that zombies are better than plants in every way. Zombies’ infantry class has more accurate and faster guns that help them in dealing with the damage at a faster rate. Each of the class has some specialty that makes them better than plants. Taking a look at this game it could be seen that “tank class” has more range of its type that is healthier. The healer is another class of the zombies that have been presented in this class and plants have been presented as a creature that got jealous from all the classes of zombies. Though healers are being portrayed as a class that heals less they can damage out a peashooter. Another of its characteristic that makes it better than plants is its high mobility. The third class of zombies is “supporter” and it moves faster than others at the time of the shooting and throwing the stun.
As a whole, it could be said that things that go out of the way become controversy and grasp more attention than the usual things. It has also been witnessed that movies inspired people to think more about zombies. One of the evidence of the zombie’s popularity is “Plants vs. Zombies” in which it has been purposely showed that zombies as better than plants (Shute et al., 2015). It looks like zombies are invading earth and plants are protecting it but in reality, plants are the real antagonist who gets jealous not only of zombies (because of their power and speed) but of the humans as well (as humans use them for many purposes). So it could be promulgated that it is the perception that makes a thing and creature wrong and right. It is better to open eye and look closely what is benefitting and what harms earth as depicted in the game (Plants vs. Zombies).
