It is a universal consent that all the individuals on this planet have some basic rights no matter what the situation is. These rights may include civil liberties and some political rights as well. However, the most fundamental right of any human being is the right to physical safety and life. These human rights are articulated in order to avoid any injustice to any individual. The right to speak allows us to express our ideas with respect to morality and justice. Accessibility of knowledge is considered to be a human right that is closely linked with freedom of expression. This is a very vast and complex topic, which includes a series of discussions under it.
Human rights are protected in order to ensure that people will receive decent and humane treatment. However, the focus is on the right of knowledge accessibility in American society for the purpose of ensuring social development. In this regard, potential information and communication technologies such as the Internet have helped a lot in accessing knowledge. The Internet has made the accessibility of knowledge possible to each and every person, no matter where they are. Transferring knowledge to every person is its basic and fundamental right, if we talk about the knowledge, then it must be transparent to every individual, no manipulation or changes are acceptable in this regard. People need to have clear knowledge no matter what field it is. The knowledge must be the same and accessible to every individual. Human rights advocates say that education should be included in the education system as it’s the basic part, not only at the school level but at the university level as well. The basic right of freedom shows that every human being has these rights and the freedom to say and express his feelings. This leads to a better understanding of the dignity and respect of a human being. Information and knowledge are supposed to be the crucial factors in the growth and development of the human. We are constantly reminded of the financial and emotional power that is possessed by communication technology and information over our lives.
Knowledge, in its most basic sense, is referred to as the element of learning. I learned about artistic and scholarly work and the tools involved in it. The movement of access to knowledge works on the law of copyright, which opens access to knowledge from different media. The movement access to knowledge on a primary basis works on the crucial barrier. If we talk about access to knowledge, there are three good points that make narrowing the focus make sense. Education is considered to be the long term partner of the individual, it is the long standing priority of societies and families. Education has set standards that people judge by knowing their level of education. Secondly, the beginning of the Internet has created a bit of easiness in collecting knowledge from different domains. In this fast and current world no knowledge is difficult to access, we just need to know the exact use of it. Lastly, knowledge is more than just formal education. Learning to do something is getting an education, while, on the other hand, knowledge is not just learning the art or skill. The Internet provides different ways in which the data can be collected, redefined and multiplied. Human beings have the right to know all this kind of information. It is the basic right of each and every individual to access the knowledge in all possible ways.
To conclude this all, I am somehow against this basic human right. Humans only need to know the things they have faced or suffered. On the other hand, some knowledge is restricted to genders. Some tasks only need to be done by one specific category. So, the need for this basic law has no foundations and is not required, in my opinion.
