The Quit Of Fossil Fuel

I do not agree with the statement that we cannot stop the use of fossil fuels. This is because it is a non-renewable source of energy, which is bound to depletion after a certain unpredictable period. Other than that, there are also alternative sources of energy, such as solar, wind, hydropower and geothermal, which are renewable and reliable as well (Turner, 687-689.).

There are various countries that are against the use of fuel. Germany, for instance, implemented the banning of petrol and diesel cars (Suranovic, 598-608). Another country is Norway, whose aim is to ban vehicles using fossil fuels by 2025 and sell cars that will use electricity fully. Other countries include India, France, and the UK.

Long-Term Impacts Of Banning The Use Of Charcoal

To the environment, there will be a significant decrease in pollution. This is because the burning of fossil fuels leads to the emission of air pollutants that are harmful to the health of people and also the environment. It also causes water pollution due to the production of sulfur dioxide, which causes acid rain.

The oil price will be reduced for the economy since the demand will decrease as a result of burning fossil fuels (Lang, np).

There will be a decrease in the diseases caused by banning charcoal, such as asthma. Bronchitis and heart diseases, among others.

Short-Term Effects

Many people will find it hard to adjust to alternative sources of energy since a lot of people are used to using fossil fuel sources of energy. But with time, everyone will have to adjust (Geels, 21-40).

With the banning of the use of nonrenewable sources, the environment will still suffer from problems like land subsidence as a result of mining activities associated with fossil fuel collection.

There will be a rise in the price of fossil fuel since its selling will be illegalized, and the suppliers will have to raise strain hard to finish the stock, which will still be in demand from most people.
