“Without initiative, leaders are simply workers in leadership positions. “
Bo Bennett.
Every one of us has a dream. A dream that we believe can change our lives and make us successful. Yet most of us do not have the guts to take an initiative and achieve that dream. Most people get scared of their own dreams. They think that their dream is too big to be achieved. Though, the ones who do manage to become successful are the ones who get up and do it.
Throughout my childhood, I wanted to go to college and study medicine. However, when I enrolled myself in science subjects at high school, I was disappointed by my lack of understanding. I thought my dream of becoming a pediatrician and attaining an excellent job at a hospital would never come true.
During the first class I attended, I just could not understand the teacher’s lecture. I had thought that biology would be simple, but my teacher was talking in a jargon which I had never heard before. Desperate to learn enough to pass, I bought around half a dozen easy-to-understand books to help myself.
During my academic career, I have noticed that there is a solution to every problem. Every time I was faced with a difficult situation, I would take my time and look for an answer, which was right there.
