Strangers at Our Door by Zigmunt Bauman

Migration and refugee issues have remained a burning question since humans learned to move from place to place for survival. However, the only way out is to accept and recognize the boundless interdependency of human beings as a species, living in one habitat at a specific site. So humans should find innovative and novel ways of living together as commonality under the shadows of cooperation and commensalism. In other words, the existence of humanity adorned with peace and prosperity lies in unity and harmony instead of separations and division, especially on a migration basis. He advocates the construction of bridges instead of building walls of separation. Hence, such strangeness can be alleviated in a society where immigrants face harsh and bitter problems.
