Racism Today Essay

Undoubtedly, racism is still one of the major prevailing issues of the world. There is a number of people who immensely suffering from the struggle of racism on daily basis. The severity involves the prospect of racism is that many people do not understand the importance of this particular issue as it comes with many forms of consideration (Grosfoguel). The issue and its negative implications can be observed in different social paradigms. It is true fact that racism is something which should not be encouraged in the society as it segregates society into different classes. Here the focus is to present the arguments about the prevailing concept of racism in today’s society.

Different people adopt different approaches to address the issue of racism and develop some good ideas to effectively eradicate it from the world. It is notable to mention that the problem of racism still exists in different societies. Although the feature of diversity is acknowledged by the modern forms of social needs and considerations but still generally people not accept which is different from them (Trepagnier). It is difficult for the citizens of the society to understand the feature of difference and that encourages them to ultimately develop different social standards. It is the common phenomenon that when people observe someone different from them than they try to push it out from the society. People do not verily accept something different from them.

There is the existence of many laws which are developed to provide the approach of equal rights related to the prospect of racism. It is unfortunate that the issue of racism still exists in spite of many legal and social considerations. Individuals still discriminated on the basis of many differences such as their color, race, religion etc. It is also crucial to indicate about the other facet of the societal considerations regarding the concept of racism. Society has many different pieces of evidence which indicate that the social scene is changing for the people who characterize as someone different from the other people (Pettigrew). A black president in the country is one major example of societal transformation concerning the prospect of racism or difference on the basis of color.

It is the fact that society immensely changes over the years as conditions were immensely tough for the black community in the country in the past. Now conditions are very much changing as they have many human rights on an equal basis which were not under consideration previously. The overall paradigm of society goes through with an immense form of struggle to achieve the present situation as all the citizens have a better approach to living. It is necessary to understand that although the issue of racism effectively addresses by the society there is still need to do more. Many people face the challenge of racism due to the fact that society never treats blacks as the equals along with other races (Dulitzky). There are many facets of considerations where blacks face the challenge of racism. They have to go through to the long struggle to prove them as competent and equal to the other citizens of the country.

To conclude this debate, it is crucial to mention that society needs to do more to eradicate the problem of racism from the society. It is necessary for the people to understand that the consideration of racism never helps society to achieve its developmental goals. It is the right time to make proper inferences that the feature of racism should not be practiced as it creates boundaries between people. All the individuals should have the equal rights to be successful in their lives.
