Psychology is a daily application in different real-life situations. In particular, I will focus on psychological testing as a tool in real-life applications. Psychological testing is necessary for various aspects of life right from schools, hospitals, and other institutions. The experiment in psychology aimed at getting rigid information about a particular problem (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2017). It offers clarification based on a known and even unknown issue that could be bothersome to the community. The testing is designed in such a way it can be used by groups or individuals so that they can identify a specific problem that is similar to another person. Through the test process in psychology, it will improve the changes in which the question under investigation gotten its solution. In my nursing career path, this tool is much applied, and it’s a core fact that I will need now and in the future for assessment of the patient before any given treatment. On this basis, I will be required to use a test tool to evaluate the problem which could be facing the patient for proper treatment. In this case, through the testing process, I will be required to get some necessary information such as the problem severity, how complicated it is, and the extent to which the involved challenge is impacting the daily roles of the patient. There will be done efficiently in the application of psychological tools of testing. In this case, I can combine it with other means such as interviews to get first-hand information in this case, but the core principal tool that will be most useful tests. The manner and the way the patient was treated were based on the results which were collected from the test mechanism. There is a critical step one should aim at and be the focus to get excellent details only because it acts as a crucial factor for the next processes to be done (Cohen & Swerdlik, 2017).
The importance of this tool is to collect the information and data required for the progress of other options and decisions made in one way or the other is in clinical matters or school matters. In my point of view, I will be required to use this assessment testing tool insignificant portion based on the fact that my career needs much of the information and therefore tests in composition with other devices will be much applicable in my daily practices and applications.
From the scripture perspective, Jesus applied the same tool to carry out his daily duties since then. In Luke 17:11-19 in the new international version, Jesus used the same mechanism for healing the ten lepers. He wanted to test their level of faith after they came over begging to have mercy on them. Jesus did not immediately have them healed, but first, He wanted to test their faith. In Luke 17:11, as Jesus was passing his way to Jerusalem, he-men with ten lepers stood by a distance. Immediately they saw him they shouted that “Jesus” the master to have mercy on them. Once Jesus saw them he did not heal them instantly but he once tested their level of faith by sending them to priests for cleansing. Jesus was very powerful and could have them cleansed without even sending them to the priest, but he used the psychological test to know the level of faith the ten lepers had. This scripture is the reflection of what the classmates posted, and it builds the way the classmates think by elaborating more on factor discussion application through scripture and even real-life situations.
