Pros of Migration Essay

With the intention of settling to other regions, people often migrate from one place to other. These places including local, foreign or regional. People migrate from place to place in search for the settlement because of certain problems. The phenomena of migration encompasses various dimensions and situations. It included worsen circumstances at home, both socially and economically. It also include escape from persecution, or those people seeking political or religious refuge. War-torn areas are also gave way for the people to migrate to the place where they could find peace.  The migration could be in the form of individual, family or a group.

Movements from one place to other for the purpose of permanent or temporary settlement provides people to get escape from one and to enjoy the interaction of other cultures. As the immigrants entered into a state they brought new ideas and cultures to the foreign land. Other than states it is also possible to the other regions. The interaction and cultural exchanges could also provide way for the friendly talks of the states. Those states could enjoy and expand relations between each other, which might reaches to the heights and which could benefit people of other regions respectively. They also came up with the new ideas and new inventions to the locals.

Foreigner are always submissive to the locals. Those who are travelling to the other state or region for the soul purpose of job or earning must have skills or expertise in his/her subject. They could provide financial benefits and labor work to the local people. Those who came from the devastating states or regions are mostly faithful as they need to get income and to live peacefully. In such a circumstances people across the borders are always beneficial to the locals and hosting states.

Other than these fruits of the immigrants, people who move from their native places to others gave various benefits to their native states. They sent their earning to the home and enhance the stock exchanges and national income. This will automatically lessen the burden of their home state. They also provide their home land to expand international cooperation and support to the other destructive parts of the world. Providing to the young people of their native states a brilliant chance of exploring new avenues and enhancement in the life style, they gave up their time, energy, resources to the host nation.

However regardless of the services of these immigrants, they have certain disadvantages to their local nations. A highly trained class of the people worked abroad and it could gave loss to the nation’s income by their unavailability. Working class of the society thus deprived of the trained and professional people. For examples, some states have the serious problem of having professional managers who might run the business of different multinational companies and corporations. Loss in foreign investment could be the result in the situation like that of unavailability of professionals in the state. In the same way migrated people are often found burden on the hosting state. The facilities and resources could be exploited if foreign people could not be managed systematically.

In short, immigration community has the potential to share all the advantages to nations of both states. In the prevailing circumstances developed nations are gaining much from these migrated people. It is then imminent that the system of immigration should be characterized by the systematic changes, which might be fruitful to the all. The needs and demands of these foreign nationals should be meet with full cooperation and coordination. That could be the way to get more from the expatriates.
