In the United States just like many other countries around the globe, the decision of where to pursue higher education is a tough decision to make. Even more hurting is the number of rejections that come after aspiring students seek opportunities to study in some prestigious higher institutions.
An example is Peter who had struggled to get an opportunity at top and prestigious universities. He therefore opted to pursuing his career from an average higher learning institution .interestingly, after his studies, he realized that one of his peers, despite having gone to a prestigious university ended up working with him in the same organization. This made him realize the importance of career over the university. Another was Jenna, who having failed to secure a chance to study in a prestigious university because of failure in mathematics, tried a chance at securing a stipend at Tijuana, which she got. Later on, she had opportunities that enabled her develop a charter school.
These two examples are an indication that the things that make us mad about admission should not. An acceptance into a university or a denial should never cause as much an alarm, rather failure to pursue our dreams should.
