Abortion Prevention by Fr Martin
Profile movement by Fr Martin perceives abortion as wrong and an event that shows no respect for human life and dignity. It shows concern and cares for people’s lives and dignity. Priest Fr Martin added that the pro-life movement is a mother of pro-social justice who perceives life as God-given and sacred. As Christians, their great concern is to prevent abortion more so among the poor and the neglected. Whereas, Lisa’s Second Trimester Abortion provision is concerned with the late abortion done in the late stage of pregnancy which ranges between fourteen to twenty-four weeks after the last menstrual cycle, and how it can be improved. The pro-life movement is Christian based led by a priest Martin whose primary concern is to provide to the fortunate people in society, for example, the disabled. They include:
• Irregular periods that would make a woman not able to notice when to have her periods and when not. She can take so long before realizing it.
• The long time took maybe her or the partner to finally decide whether or not to practice abortion. It can take so long to push it into the second trimester.
• Medical tests observed to depict the unborn child as disabled can as well lead to its termination at a later stage.
• Lack of providers and financial assistance as well can delay one’s abortion. It affects those in rural areas.
Contributors can as well make a difference; Fr Martin of the Pro-life movement is a priest thereby making it a Christian contribution. Whereas, the second trimester is that contributed by Lisa who seems to understand the health conditions, the reproductive structure, chemicals, and operation of the whole process. It’s a scientific contribution.
However, the two possess some similarities which are vivid. Both showing concern for health care and the well-being of women. Fr Martin provides to all just to create a conducive environment for them despite their social class and stage of their lives. Lisa as well does puts more effort in restoring care to better health care for the women involved. In addition to this, both are trying to find ways of minimizing the harms brought in by abortion. The pro-life movement does fight for the life of the unborn (fighting for their freedom of existence) and good health for women who are pruned to various complications during such stages. The second Trimester as well tries as much to reduce the rate of dangers and violations caused by abortion hence breaking the silence and changing the discourse.
