History

The Colgate-Palmolive Inc. is an American multinational manufacturing corporation headquartered in Park Avenue, New York. The Company has a long history in the U.S. The Colgate Company was founded in 1806, by William Colgate. After his death, his son continued the business until in 1928, when Palmolive-Peet bought the Company. The company first products were candles and soaps, but in recent years the company has wide large of consumer products.
