Dear Mr. Bayley,
Your company recently sent one of your best cruise ships; Anthem of the Seas, on a voyage to the Caribbean. I was a passenger on the ship, along with my family; my wife, two daughters and myself. The voyage took place on 01/10/2017. I have attached copies of me and my family member’s tickets, as proof.
The service provided by your staff was exceptional. Your crew was very kind and professional. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of the trip. Unfortunately, after some time, the ship encountered a storm on the Atlantic Ocean, when it met 125+ mph winds. The high winds resulted in creating huge waves that were as tall as 30+ feet. Judging from the size of the waves and the power of the winds; which were able to create havoc on the ship’s deck, it was evident that our ship would have sunk.
While I am not an expert on sailing a ship, it is quite evident to me that the captain; who seems well-qualified, did not pay any heed to the warnings of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Apparently, because of this misadventure, four passengers were hurt, while the remaining of us was locked in our cabins for almost 12 hours. During this time, none of your company’s staff member made any effort to contact us and informs us of the situation. It Is the first time, my family and I have faced such a case, which has left us traumatized.
We look forward to hearing from you in the next few days. We expect that you would take measures to negate the effects of such a traumatizing incident. We also hope that you; through your efforts, would ensure that we continue to take up sea voyages in the future.
Hope to hear from you soon.
