Re: Donation Department of Chicago Charity Home for Children, Employee Identification Number 00-54328
Dear Mr. Johnstone:
On behalf of the whole Chicago Charity Home for the Needy community, I wish to express my sincere gratitude for your charitable donation of $500 on date 20 February 2018. We highly appreciate that as charity home community.
Thanksgiving is the moment of celebration and joy. Also, it is the moment of reflection. As celebration holiday approaches, it is the moment to reflect with great appreciation on the bounty and blessings that you have shown. As you progress with your holiday, plans and reflecting on what you have to be thankful for. It is good that you have also remembered those who are less fortunate and we see you can assist those who are in need.
At the Chicago Charity Home Needy, we are committed to give or provide assistance to the needy individuals and families in our society. We do not operate on in holidays, but we provide our assistance throughout the year. We have many individual seeking assistance on the food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education and others in our charity home. However, the problem we face is that our resources are limited. We normally depend on the wellness and genericity of the donors to continue to provide our service to these people in the society. Therefore your contribution has created a greater impact on our community and the whole society. That is good.
I am also writing to inform you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the work of Chicago Charity Home for Needy as the donation for charity. We believe in the organization that no donation is small; we always appreciate any amount that God has put in your pocket to support us. We also accept any material things that you feel can make a change on another person. You can continue to contribute to our charity home through our website that is www.chicagocharityhomeforneedy.com, or you can contact us through 02345675421 that operate for 24/7. We normally accept checks from donors that can be sent to our address 1236-001 Chicago.
Additional, I like to inform yours about the policies that are the follower when making the donation base on the IRS website.
If the donor claims that the deduction on his return of over $500 for the contributed property, it is mandatory that the donor attach the Form 8283 (PDF), that shows Noncash Charitable Contributions, to the return.
If the donor claims the total deduction of $5,000 or less for all contributed property, the donor need complete only Section A of Form 8283.
If the donor claims the deduction of more than $5,000 for the item or the group of similar items, the donor generally should be needed to complete Section B of the Form 8283, which requires typically qualified appraiser typically to appraise the vehicle and its value.
The donor will need to keep records of the donation and substantiate the car’s current fair market value. The charity will need to provide written acknowledgment (the description of the car and whether the charity provided goods or services in exchange, involving their value) if the donor is claiming the deduction of $250 or more funds for the car.
Therefore, all funds or items received in the charity home will directly go to provide support to the needy people and their families in the society. Hence the best way to celebrate is making your neighbor or friend feel happy. Thus the decision of helping the needy individual is one of the important decision for the growth of the society as the whole.
