I am writing a memo on the results that are based on the Questionnaire I performed on Business Cultural Intelligence. I was asked a detailed questionnaire on which I had to answer according to my strengths and capability. In my opinion it was a great opportunity for me to explore my abilities and my adaptation level in different cultures. It helped me understand that what do I need to improve in communication skills, cross-cultural business habits, manners, etc.
I got H-N-N as a result. It means that I am fair at all the six factors, and of course I need practice. Thus, there is a large improvement space in my personality as there is always in everyone. I made a plan according to each factor.
In the first factor regarding Motivational, I got 112.6 score. It means that I am motivated enough but still I need to give myself a daily reminder that I CAN ADAPT with others and I CAN DO IT EFFECTIVELY. In the factor of Communication, I need a fair improvement. I need to communicate with local people as a practice in order to be skillful while communicating with the professionals. I need to learn the manners and habits of the area, as it helps you for being presentable. My Cognitive Preparation needs to be polished much so I will try to strong at nerves and mind to be active in learning.
Further analysis of my result helped me realize that I little bit need to be more active in listening and sensing the thing. I am required to learn the non verbal cues of the particular society to understand the things more effectively. Also, the fifth and sixth factor requires learning and activeness in media and books. I need to strengthen my skill of reading and watching carefully to be aware and to learn new things and have knowledge of the environment.
