The notable point is that around forty-seven percent of the children are aware of the fact that YouTube owners paid for the advertising and those brands associated with the application.
Effects of the YouTube Trends
Digital media is providing increased access to the children and most of the adults are excessively use internet channels and videos. The Google and related stuff provide the opportunity to the individuals to examine the reliability of the available content. The understating level of these teenagers is not, high which could give detail of the paid funding and advertising the specific content. Studies conducted by the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) has concluded that fifty percent of the users who search the engine belongs to the age of around fifteen. These visitors to the internet have critical judgments with their belief that some website is accurate and true while others are not. However, nineteen percent of the teenagers have the opinion those engines with the enlistment of their information will be true (Heider, 2014). In the same way, around twenty percent of the children do not think of the veracity of the material available, they just visit the websites.
Regardless of these trends, children are becoming smart in the era of information. They are preceding their elders and arguing against the style of communication. The information and the traditional way of exchanging views are no longer available to convince the child, as his preferences are changing rapidly. However being smart in this world is not the primary purpose of an individual because there are numerous issues that can harm the mental and social capability of the child. Just pronging in the digital world and leaving the practical life to have severe bad effects on adults. According to the two thousand seventeen report of the CNN, most of the children are active at the forum of social media having an age of ten years. The variety magazine also researches and reveal that out of then ten teenagers six are the frequent visitors to the YouTube. The age of these individuals is calculated as thirteen to seventeen. Other than traditional celebrities, these young individuals have to follow close relation with the video chats and communications.
Through the form of social media, teenager and trendsetter have unfolded themselves as models for other and they are looking in the streets where fans often recognize them. The interesting things here is that these people are ordinary individuals like those people living next to the door of common societies. Being famous for online is just limited to those who are the user of online applications and networks. Parents of these online users are also unaware of their activities and the behavior. Unawareness of the guardians of young can have a severe impact on the life and other activities (Kalmus, 2015). Researcher’s advice to the parents that they should have known about the activities of their child and they should set certain rules to tell him that what you can do or cannot do? The negligence of the guardians in overseeing behavior and activities of their minors would lead to serious harm to the whole community.
Influence of Recent Trends
Influencers that use the stage of the social media spread their message among groups, friends, and relatives without having expensive costs. These are the You Tubers that influence the live so adults and children. The process of the decision makers in this era is mostly focused on the variant marketing operating through online resources. The consumer has the habit copying others they can meet their dream through decision making. Before the web usage decisions were based on the advice of the and the advertisement published in newspapers. Purchasers in the modern age have the opinion and the experiences of personal sharing through the social media network. The online reviews available to every person also provide inputs for the decisions of purchasing what and what not. The matter of routine activity is that before buying anything people search for the price and online availability of the thing they demand. YouTube became the nice place for serving, branding and promoting against the low costs products.
Regular watching the behavior, language and the clothing of the You Tubers teenagers like to wear and react in the same way. This kind of influence also affects the mood and lifestyle of the adults. Older and mature individuals are mostly associated with the social media network and running of programs on the YouTube, they do not feel cursing and swearing from young people. Parents have always problems with their teenagers who imitate the behavior and language of the person operating on social media. One of the popular game is Minecraft mostly played by the children. By this game YouTube, swear much more than expectations. Elementary school children are famous for playing the game on the internet (Pontes, 2014). There are many parents mostly require advice for restricting their child not to use the language and bad behavior. Children are thus smart with the use of the internet and activities related to the online business. Other than civilization issues, they are enjoying the globalized world with the variety of challenges and opportunities connected with their future.
The critical and cognitive skills of the children are improving with the engagements of their brains in the complicated tasks. They have the better chances of discovering and understanding the actual and the virtual worlds. The information is available and the children are not, getting benefit from the use of the internet, they will no smarter and will live lives just as other people have in the society. However, it is important to know that toddlers might detract from their actual activities because of the easy access available to them. They have not the ability to grasp certain information, which can easily be answered by the internet. In the present education young generation is increasingly use the resources of the internet and put those answers against their question assign to them by the teacher. The concept of the hard work is no more and the quest for obtaining of the knowledge lack with the advent of online, and social media networks. State, educational institutions, and the research institutes should consider the point and ban the use of digital media for education purpose. The opposite of this is the knowledge and sources of the books to which every student must learn and try to understand. The second option of enhancing knowledge can enhance the reading of the students. Google is not the only solution to solve the problems rather there are frequent means and positive ways, which can develop and enhance the lives of toddlers. Technological trends are changing and will revolve around the humans what is the actual problem is with us that we are getting all those positives operating in an online setting.
Trend II: In-app Purchasing
The advent of the trend that is associated with the in-app purchasing has brought new avenues for the young people to get the benefit and make their life easier. Studies have been conducted in this regard, which indicates that enhancement in the ownership of the phones and in the smart devices is prevalent among the children. At lower age level like the child, having age between five to seven years owns the smartphones. Only four percent of these toddlers are having mobiles at their lower age. The alarming condition arises when seventy percent of the individuals in the age of fifteen or less possess the ownership of the mobiles (Rathore, 2016). Among the older children having the age of fourteen or it also possesses the tablets which are another smart device connect them to the social media culture are forty-five percent among all others. Easy access to the smart devices provided the children to own wealth of the devices, which include the important applications. Games are downloaded from these devices easily and toddlers play with increase spending of time on it. A short look on the other side of the benefits reveal those eleven percent teenagers and around six percent of the toddlers are of the view that they are feeling obstacles in and depression by purchasing the online applications.
The Donghui Cho research, which he submitted to the University of Michigan regarding the problem of the in-app purchasing and its effects on the American average citizens. He interacted with the children of age six to twelve about the actuality and reliability of the purchase of games and played online. The player in such kinds of games convinces to spend money. He the wondering situation during the investigation process when he meets with the child who has spent around forty-five hundred dollars while playing the game on the tablet. The child has one hundred transactions, which are not in the knowledge of his parents. The guardians of the respective child know the loss of their amount after receiving the bill of the credit cards. The investigator points out those in-app purchases risks as shocking alerts for parents to take care of their child, before they face big loss (Sheth, 2016). The research also reveals that sensible children are also doubtful about the money they have to pay before the start of the game. However, there are the students between the ages twelve to fifteen reveal that they know about the rule of pay to win and it has happened in almost all the games they participate. With the conclusion of the studies of the Cho, he got the response of fifty percent individuals those having the age of fifteen years, are of the view that paying in the advance for the game is an unnecessary and useless rule.
Considering these emerging trends the important factor for the guardians is that they must know and learn technical tools associated with the payment and related aspects of the social media users. They should also monitor the funding and the worth of the material provided on the internet through the social media. Studies have indicated that parents are mostly using mediation techniques to let their child far from any harm posed by online association. Education is important but the guardians have primarily need of focusing on those skills that can divert the attention of their child from excessive use of the internet. They have the multiple options in choosing against the reliability of the source and the information requires validation. Researchers have conducted the structure base interviews. There are certain main identification points that were made in the study.
The impact of the internet on the behavior of the child in making him smart is too high. According to the studies, they ask the child that how much time you spend on the internet. The child responded that he is regular in visiting YouTube and he cannot live without the use of the online machinery. Toddler knows that at what time what kind of video the operator of pages on the YouTube account will upload (Škařupová, 2017). The intensity of the brain and quickness show how children get smart from the diverse use of social media. Majority of the teenagers watch movies immediately after returning from the schools. Weekend days are served with the regular watching of YouTube. The traditional celebrities do not have the chance to meet or interact with the children other than concerts. Even the celebration offered by the You Tubers under their fix time. For example, in the New York, many teenagers gather to have pictures and funs with their favorite You Tubers. The interesting factor is that regardless of the smart children have; there is the parent who does not know about the use, access and the information of the online community.
Conclusion
To sum up the arguments, regarding the smartness of the children living in the United States, it is advisable that parents should monitor and regulate the activities of their children. Other than, the positives of the internet it also created obstacles for parents to know about the activities of their child. In general, technology is not the problem associated with the isolation it is actually the outlet, which reveals the problem. Changing trends and the factors will contribute to smarting our children’s, but we will have to choose to save our child from detracting and restraining it from the excessive use of the internet.
